Scottsdale based. Work with me 1:1 to understand how to best approach your training throughout pregnancy and into postpartum. You can rest assured knowing that pregnant bodies are strong, capable, and resilient, and can be appropriately challenged throughout each trimester. I consider implication of training on your core and pelvic floor health and long term performance that translates across your interests as well as into the next chapter of motherhood.
For those who don't have access to my in-person services. My goal is to provide you with quality guidance during your pregnancy and provide you with resources you would have access to if we were to work together in person. Your prenatal training goes far beyond modifications and 'listening to your body'. With your long term performance and interests in mind, I create a program on an individual level, based on your body, your pregnancy.
My approach to programming is designed to help you reestablish your core stabilization, strength connection & rebuild/re-learn movement patterns to allow for a solid foundation that you can continue to build strength progressively. Your training will bring back awareness to your body, lay the foundations, and how to avoid or alleviate any aches and pains/ common postpartum dysfunctions (leaking, prolapse etc). Regain confidence in your body and feel strong and empowered.
The purpose of this program is for women with the intention of returning to weight lifting postpartum. I created this to provide guidance for the early postpartum days starting anywhere from 2-4+ weeks. This 6 week program will slowly progress movement patterns in a way that will teach a restorative lifting strategy, bringing you motor control and awareness to your pelvic floor, assist with healing all while strength during a vulnerable period in time. This program is not intended to feel intense and has a strong emphasis over movement quality.
Just because you have had a baby does not mean you have to settle for pain/discomfort throughout daily activities, peeing your pants during exercise, or a basic strength program that does not factor in your core and pelvic health. You've focused on your rehab, built a foundation and now it's time to make real progress with your training. Whether you are 4 months postpartum or it's been a few years, I have a program that works for you at any stage of motherhood. For the mama 4+ months postpartum and BEYOND.
